The trainer proposes individualized interventions with students experiencing learning difficulties and she explains the impact of using phonological awareness and spelling regularities in teaching lexical spelling. Drawing on Seymour’s dual foundation model, the research of Stanké and colleagues (2015-2018) and her doctoral research, among other things, the instructor offers recent teaching materials and ways to produce them free of charge, and gives participants a unique table summarizing spelling regularities.
